Help improve Remy
How session activity may be used to improve future models, and which settings apply.
Updated: October 12, 2026
What it is for
Help improve Remy lets activity from your sessions be used to improve future models. Sessions show the tasks people actually ask Remy to do, and where the result needs to be better.
Using a session to improve models is separate from using it to finish the task. Remy still processes a request so it can respond, whether or not that session is also used for model improvement.
It is also separate from Remy Contributor. Each program has its own control. Changing one does not change the other.
What a session can include
When Help improve Remy applies, a session trace may include:
- Prompts and instructions you give Remy.
- Agent actions Remy takes while working on the task.
- Code encountered during the session, including code Remy reads or edits to complete the task.
- Tool results returned while the session is running. If a tool brings back page content, file contents, or other context, that material can be part of the trace.
The trace follows the task you asked for. Account, billing, and sign-in details collected to run the Service are a separate category, described in the Privacy Policy.
Settings by plan
- Individual Free: On, and required for this plan. Session activity may be used to improve future models, and there is no separate off switch on Free.
- Individual Pro and Max: On by default. You can turn Help improve Remy off. The control belongs to the account holder, not to a workspace administrator.
These settings apply to your individual account. They do not follow you into a Team or Enterprise workspace. Activity there follows that workspace’s policy.
When model improvement is off
On Pro and Max, turning Help improve Remy off means later sessions are not used to improve models. Individual Free does not offer that switch. On every plan, Remy still processes the session so it can complete the request, including through service providers that run models when the task needs them.
Turning the setting off is not a deletion request. It does not necessarily remove activity already collected, and it does not undo training that has already been completed. Conversation history is kept under the retention rules in the Privacy Policy, separately from this setting.
Cloud Agent
Cloud Agent uses the same plan settings. A session that runs in the cloud can include the same kinds of traces: prompts, agent actions, code encountered, and tool results.
See Computer use and cloud privacy for how local tools, browser tasks, and cloud processing fit together.
